One of the hottest trends in makeup and beauty right now is eyebrows. Although you may think that nobody stares at your eyebrows, you would be wrong. Your eyebrows frame one of the best features on your face: your eyes. As such, if they look overgrown or too thin, they aren't going to be doing much for your overall look. Luckily, there are several things that you can do to get model-worthy eyebrows that will make all your friends jealous. 

Get Them Waxed

The first step to any good pair of eyebrows is to have them professionally waxed. Eyebrow waxing is a great way to get rid of straggly hairs and shape your eyebrows a little bit better so that they don't look too out of place. During an eyebrow waxing session your waxer will ask you a bunch of questions regarding the shape and fullness that you want from your eyebrows. Then, they will talk you through what they are going to wax to make sure that you agree with it. The good thing about eyebrow waxing is that unlike other areas of the body, it's not very painful, and it will be over in just a few seconds. 

Get Them Dyed

Another thing that you may want to consider is getting your eyebrows professionally dyed, especially if your eyebrows are a lighter color than the hair on your head. Even if you have really blonde hair, one of the trends right now is to have dark eyebrows because they will make a strong contrast that will make your eyes pop even more. Although you can get the look of darker eyebrows with an eyebrow pencil, dying them may be easier because you won't necessarily have to color them in every day. 

Fill Them In

In addition to making your brows a darker color, eyebrow pencils are also designed to help you fill in your eyebrows. If you over-plucked your eyebrows as a teenager and don't have very many left, then filling them in is a must. Even if you still have a lot of brow hair, filling in empty spots will help them look more cohesive and put together. Just make sure that if you do dye your brows, you choose a shade of eyebrow pencil that matches them perfectly. 

Having good eyebrows does take a little bit of TLC on your end of things, but the payoff will definitely be worth it in the long run.
